Crop PDF

Trim margins using percentage-based crop values.

Why use this tool?

Percentage-based controls

Crop each edge by a percentage of the page dimensions for precise, resolution-independent trimming.

Uniform application

Apply the same crop settings to every page at once, keeping the layout consistent throughout the document.

Non-destructive trimming

Only the visible area changes. The underlying content is preserved in the file and can be restored by other tools.

Common use cases

Remove scan borders

Trim the dark edges or white margins left by a flatbed scanner to produce clean, borderless pages.

Fit slides to print

Crop wide margins from exported presentation slides so they fill the printed page more effectively.

Clean up book scans

Remove gutter shadows and uneven edges from scanned book pages before archiving or sharing.

Frequently asked questions

Does cropping permanently delete content?

The crop adjusts the visible area but the underlying data remains in the file. However, the cropped result you download only shows the trimmed area.

Can I crop different pages by different amounts?

Currently the same crop percentages are applied to all pages. For per-page cropping, run the tool separately on extracted page ranges.

What happens to text near the crop edge?

Any text or images that fall outside the new crop boundary will be hidden. Preview the result before downloading to make sure nothing important is cut off.
